METALLICA To Play 50,000-Capacity Venue In Paris Next Spring

METALLICA will play the 50,000-capacity Le Parc des Princes venue in Paris, France on June 23, 2004 as part of their spring 2004 European tour, drummer Lars Ulrich announced during the band's sold-out show at Paris' Palais Omnisport de Bercy Tuesday night (Dec. 9). Le Parc des Princes is the second-biggest venue in the city, right behind the 80,000-capacity Stade de France. AC/DC currently stand as the only hard rock band to have played and sold out the Stade de France. METALLICA will be the first-ever metal band to play the Parc Des Princes.
